The condition of the Polish economy depends to a large extent on exports. The PMI index (this is an indicator of economic activity in the manufacturing sector in a given country) for the euro area industry in June amounted to 47.8 pts. towards 47.7 points in May, and the service PMI of the euro zone was at 53.4 pts. against 52.9 points in May, I would like to remind you that the PMI index is only above 50 points signals a recovery in a given sector of the economy.
