The goal of the whole undertaking is to implement pro-quality activities related to the adaptation of medical facilities to the needs of people with disabilities.
Hospitals and Primary Care Health facilities will be able to apply for grant funding for activities under 4 components:
• Architectural (driveways, elevators, widening of entrances to buildings and internal doors, elimination of high thresholds, installation of non-slip floors, adaptation of sanitary rooms, patient registration, switches and information boards, purchase of induction loops, etc.);
• Cyfrowe (purchase of computer hardware, software and other devices to improve the availability of health services for patients with disabilities, development of telemedicine facilitating communication at a distance, and implementation of other solutions ensuring the functioning of "friendly" facilities for disabled people, registration systems (also on-line ), taking into account the needs of people with disabilities, creating and adapting websites to the WCAG 2.0 standard and training in the IT area);
• Communication (training in soft competences for medical and non-medical personnel, eg registration employees, to support competences in the field of proper communication with people with disabilities, eg trainings paying attention to appropriate forms of communication);
o Organizational (streamlining organizational solutions, including procedures for patients, to facilitate the service of patients with disabilities).
